| Anyone just starting out in affiliate marketing, PLEASE ask the basic questions. We want to hear from you. The main moderators on this forum have an average of 5 years of affiliate marketing experience. Plus, when you create a post, you can put your website url in your signature and get more traffic to your website!

| Do be careful about using your url however. In another forum I replied to a thread called something like, "Selling fakes on eBay" and used my url in my signature, and now when you search for my site one of the first things that comes up says. . . . yes, it's true =) . . . "Fakes on eBay" =(

You should be able to create a new webpage on your site with the title being your url and then you will come up first on the search engines. Be sure to link to this page from your sitemap or homepage. It will most likely take 2-3 weeks. Put some content marketing your business on this page also and include the url in the first 100 words. Should work

| Travis, thank you so much. It amazes me that this is a forum about Affiliate Programs but my initial question led here with such helpful advice. Perhaps Affliiate Watchdogs is too limiting a title? But, that is certainly not my business. It IS my business to thank you for all your help. Mike
