Things I've done:- Signed up with Clickbank.
- Signed up with Linkshare.
- paid to have Income University and Blue Host provide me with an already set up website. There are 341 web pages in the following categories: cartips, credit report, search, shopping and travel.
- I signed up with google adsense and amazon. I followed the instructions for adding my "code" to the websites.
- I've even added a few webpages of my own to the original domain.
So here's what I don't get....and remember I'm a newbie... How will adsense and amazon be sending traffic to my webpages? I go into my adsense account and it shows only that I have data avail for content-nothing next to search or refer. When I go there it shows 9 impressions in 2 days. When I go to Amazon it shows 0 impressions. How am I supposed to get traffic to my webpages so that they will click on the adsense and amazon links? I will be more than happy to promote the web pages myself, but there are so many "scams" out there, that I don't know what the best one to use is. Recently I saw an ad to purchase "ad blaster" software. Anyone ever use that? Is it any good? Please help with any advice you can give me. Thanks

| To answer your questions: 1. AdSense and Amazon will not send any traffic to your website. These programs are for making money off of your existing traffic. 2. In AdSense, the search section will only show data if you have a Google Search box on your website. This would be for your users to search directly from your website. The Refer section of AdSense is used when you refer people to use FireFox or use AdSense on their own websites. 3. One way to get traffic to your website is to have a website that is very niche, or all about one specific topic. Then, you will need original (never copied, completely original) content. Each page should be 300 words minimum about a specific element of your website niche. Try to create roughly 200-250 webpages. Then, you will need highly relevant one-way links to your website, so the search engines will find your website and rank it high. After about 6 months you should have some decent traffic (over 200 visitors per day). Anyone else with some recommendations?
