| I don't understand the one-way relevant link thing. Given time it will happen, of course, but how to make it happen now, without paying for it (doesn't that sound like cheating? Howabout I pay you to set up a website about handbags and then link to me? Whoopie.) I don't understand how to get relevant links in a timely fashion. I mean, I will be 115 years old before eLuxury links to UnusualThreads.com (if then =)

| There have been many articles written on this topic. Here are some ideas on how to get one-way relevant links for free: 1. Go to freewebs.com and create your free account. Create a page about your specific topic (300 words min original content). Then, link to your website however you please. Make sure to link to your new freewebs page from at least one source, like a forum signature. 2. Speaking of forum signatures, you can get relevant links from forums. Just search for your keyword phrase + the word "forum". This will help you located relevant forums for your signature links. 3. Go to http://www.voy.com and create a forum of your own. There is a spot for HTML and you can link back to your website. This is a nice one-way link, because voy is a PageRank7 website. 4. Submit original articles to places like http://www.ezinearticles.com. There is a spot to put "About The Author" and you can include a link back to your website. I recommend to only do this with interesting articles. Many people will actually read these articles and may put them on their own websites. 5. Do a press release at http://www.prnewswire.com. I would make sure that it is "newsworthy". Something that other people would really like to know about your website. There is a free option at PRNewswire and paid options. 6. I see that you have already tried out http://www.freerelevantlinks.com. This is an easy way to get relevant links to your website. This should get you started, it's hard work, but it's worth it in the long run! Relevant one-way links are the way to go.

| Hi, I have created a two-page website at http://www.freewebs.com/mikeferrari/index.htm and would love your opinion and input. In addition to what you might also see/suggest, my questions are these: 1. Are there too many/too few links to my main site? 2. Is there a good reason NOT to transfer one of my domain names (like, ForUnusualHandbags.com) to this site (and have it hosted by them and get rid of the frames (their ads, etc.) and load it up with Adsense? 3. Do you think I should build this site out or start another? Thanks, Mike

| Responding to your questions: 1. Looks fine. 2. I would forget about your other domain names and let them expire. Concentrate only on your main site. Someday in the future, after you are happy with your handbag site, then purchase another website in a different industry. There is not much point in having multiple websites in the exact same niche, all you're asking for is more work. 3. You will only need 1 link from freewebs.com. More than that will most likely do you no more good with Google. Do the other things on the list and build your main website content. A website that does well ($25-$50 per day or more) is usually about 200-250 pages big (these are original pages with over 300 words). I make over $15,000 per month from one of my websites that has 226 pages of real content.

Good tips out there, article marketing has always proven to help. Even blogging is a great way to market, by frequently updating blog with unique content. You may even take help of viral widgets to spread that word of mouth when visitors like your articles or content and want to share with others.
