| Aravind, Welcome to the Affiliate Watchdogs forum! When selecting an affiliate program there are a number of different factors that you should consider. The most important one, in my opinion, is conversion rate per 100 clicks. An average conversion rate is 1 sale out of 100 clicks sent. 3 sales or more out of 100 clicks is good. I would run Google AdSense ads first for a week to get an idea of how much money that your website can generate in pay per click first. Use that as a baseline, and then try to beat it with affiliate programs that closely match your website. To increase your conversion rates, I recommend that you use pre-sell marketing pages if you have the time. For more information, see this page: http://www.affiliatewatchdogs.org/PreSellPages.aspx
