highly trusted website. This page would be straight from the heart and should
be a product or service that you believe in. An example would be: "Affiliate
Watchdogs recommends product XYZ because it worked for us....". Keep these type
of pre-sell pages short and sweet (3-4 paragraphs). We find that it works best
to just link out once from this type of hosted marketing content page. Place
the link on the product or service name itself.
Purchasing Hosted Marketing Pages
You can also purchase hosted marketing pages that are placed on
other people's website. You would
purchase marketing pages hosted
on high quality sites if you were trying to promote your own product or
service. Another benefit of purchasing these type of pages is that it helps
with search engine optimization. You get highly relevant one way links,
exactly what you need to increase rankings. Usually, you can link to internal
webpages of your site also.
Getting .edu text links would be beneficial due to the trust these often old
and well linked domains propagate.
You could even have a whole presell page with your text links on an .edu
domain it. These
.edu text links are said to be strongest and most
powerful links you can get when it comes to organic Google search engine
optimization.
